Usual nutso weekend The rest of the weekend continued at a relentless clip. After The Great Suzuki Dance Party, we headed home for a couple of hours and then went to Nanny Gibbons' for supper. Scott and his fiancée Leslie had come to visit for the weekend, and we had a nice supper with them, the Taylors-Hood, and Nanny. They're staying until late Monday, but I doubt if we'll get to see them again this trip. Jean was so strung out she had a complete meltdown before we managed to leave, and the kids didn't get to bed until nine or so. Sunday was the usual church in the morning (Bob was manager-on-duty, which meant that he had to stay behind to count the collection), a quick lunch at Pateys', and then Bob took Jean off to the movies to celebrate Father's Day (they saw Madagascar, and gave it two thumbs up) and I went to the first Festival 500 Prep rehearsal. We got the kids home at a not-too-late hour, and I collapsed pretty early. The Festival of New Dance is coming up, and the warm weather is starting, so that means doing more fun stuff with the kids. Can't wait.
