Bargain-hunting
I went to the Value Village 50%-off sale today. They're held regularly but usually on Saturdays when I can't make it, so I took everyone's measurements, made a wish-list and went off early this morning. I scored pretty well; here's the account of the haul.
Bob's sister also asked me to look for some things for nine-month-old Jeremy, and I found ten long-sleeved shirts (to give her some choices) and a really nice winter jacket, probably a bit too big.
Total: $80.
Some of it may have to go back - Bob already tried on his jeans and only one pair fits - but the majority of it will stay. I also brought a small bag of stuff (too small or inappropriate for Katherine) to donate and found some more to set aside for said niece, so the stuff-meter is hovering about level.
